Spring-Green and the Arbor Day Foundation

I am really proud of the fact that Spring-Green has partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation and sponsors the planting of 10,000 trees each year. We have been doing this for the last four years, so that means we have helped plant 40,000 trees. Each year forest fires burn up huge amounts of forested land. Insects and diseases also take their toll on forests throughout the US. Without organizations like the Arbor Day Foundation, these areas may remain fallow for many years. We often hear about the massive fires in the western states, but there are many other areas within the US that need help to rebuild their forests. This year we have helped plant trees in the state of Michigan. These trees will improve the habitat for the endangered Kirtland Warbler.
